Meet our Staff!
My name is Roxanne and I have been working at LCP since March of 2020. Most of the time you will find me in the kitchen making the snacks for the children and staff members. Other times I will bounce from room to room wherever I am needed. I have been working with children since I was 12 years old. It started when I was in 4-H working with Cloverbuds. I would go on adventures, do special projects and sing/dance to silly songs. I enjoy working with children so much that I went to school for it. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education. From there I was able to learn so much about the young child and the importance of teaching them. One of my favorite activities is sensory play: smelling something, making music, slime, I love how excited they get. Outside of work I live in a small town called Arena. I live with my husband Nick and our dog Dusty. In my free time I love to cook, paint, listen to music, spend time with my brother, spoil my nieces/nephews, and hang out with friends. One day I hope to travel to all 50 states and possibly start a family of my own.
I am Jake. I have been connected with LCP since 2017 and my son Joe attends, currently in the Lions classroom. I have a degree in Educational Studies and have worked with children since graduating college in 2016. I have spent the last 5 years in early childhood centers like LCP, usually with 3-5 year olds. I also work with my church's youth group. I am looking forward to being with the Zebras class. In my free time I like to play rugby, be with my family, and play video games with my brothers and friends.
I am Tina and I joined Living Christ Preschool 2's classroom in November 2017. I came from an administrative position in an after-school program. However, I missed working with children, as I had been able to do the 10 years previously as a teacher at a local early learning center. I love the outdoors and go camping, hiking, biking, and fishing with my husband, Ben, and our three children, Noah, Olivia, and Brianna. In my free-time I volunteer at my children's school, lead two different Girl Scout troops, and spend time in my vegetable garden. I am thankful to spend each day working with your children, helping them develop new skills, and watching them grow.
I am Acuestin and I have worked at LCP since the beginning of February 2020. I enjoy helping the kids learn and be the best they can be! I have a daughter of my own who is 3, Sophia, who attends here. She is one of the reasons I wanted to be in childcare. Watching her learn and grow has been one of the best experiences. I am originally from Merrill, WI. In my free time I enjoy taking Sophia to the park , dance, and anything Disney!
I am Emily and I have been teaching at LCP since the Fall of 2020. I am originally from Alexandria, MN and earned a degree in Elementary Education with a Preschool Endorsement from Concordia University St. Paul. I am a cat mom to a large orange cat named Mac and a black and white cat named Toby. In my free time I like to kayak, rollerblade, watch movies, take Mac on walks, and be with my family and friends.
I am Amanda, I have been a teacher at LCP since 2017 and transitioned to Director in June of 2021. I have taught in the infants, ones, and 3-4 year old room here at Living Christ. I live in Oregon with my husband Andrew and our newborn son Peter; but am originally from the Green Bay area. I love to garden, read, watch football, and spend time outside with my family. I am enjoying working with the children at Living Christ and helping them to learn as much as they can about Christ and friendship.
I am Karthika and I started as a Lamb's room teacher in November of 2020. I love working with kids and helping them. I am from India and have earned a Bachelors of Commerce degree. I moved to the United States in December of 2016 and I love Madison. In my free time I love to do crafts and DIY. I love who I am and my family. I have two boys, Mohith and Mudund and they are adorable. I am blessed with a supportive family in my life.
I am Elizabeth. I started at LCP in the Winter of 2021 with the Lions classroom. I moved here from Illinois. I have an Associates of Arts degree. I worked as a lead teacher in the infant/toddler room in IL. In my free time, I enjoy trying new coffee shops, doing various crafts/DIY projects, and traveling!
